The BHS General Files are varied and extensive.

They range from documents relating to the general history of Brighton to topics such as churches, Chinese migrants, hotels, hospitals, schools, sporting clubs, war memorials, community groups, bathing boxes, the foreshore and festivals, plus many more.

We are constantly adding to the information in the General Files and welcome all material donated by the public.
