Our costume collection is filled with rich and sometimes unexpected stories, dating from the early colonial period right up to the present day.

Over the past couple of years, Annabel Butler and Laura Jocic have been digging deep into those stories and what they can tell us about aspects of life in Brighton's - and Australia's - past. Their presentation will take you through of ten selected objects and the intriguing histories hidden just beneath the surface.

The presentation will be followed by afternoon tea, as well as an opportunity to view each of the ten items up close.

This event is now booked out. Keep checking our website and Facebook for future events and costume stories!

Date: Sunday 20 October, 2pm - 4pm
